Purpose
This is a private utility operated for the sole purpose of creating, checking, and restoring encrypted database backups.
Google data accessed
The utility requests Google Drive’s limited drive.file permission. It
can create and manage only files it created or that were explicitly opened with it.
It does not request access to unrelated Drive files, contacts, email, calendars, or
other Google services.
How data is used
Google authorization credentials are used only to upload, verify, retain, and restore encrypted backup files. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or model training.
Storage and security
Backup contents are encrypted before leaving the private server. The OAuth token is stored on that server with restricted file permissions. The encryption recovery password is stored separately from Google Drive.
Sharing and retention
Data is not sold. Encrypted files are stored with Google Drive, and the scheduled job runs on a private hosting provider. Snapshots are automatically limited to seven daily, five weekly, and twelve monthly copies.
Your control
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account connections page. Revoking access stops future backups; existing encrypted files can be deleted directly from Google Drive.
